Mr Olufemi Olanreleola Okenla
Femi Okenla is the Group Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of HDV Group, a lawyer and real estate entrepreneur. His company HDV Group ((consisting of Homes Deal Ventures Nigeria Limited, and HDV (Hotel Development Ventures) Nigeria Limited)) has interests in real estate and hospitality. He is a dual jurisdiction lawyer licensed to practice in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He began his law career in 1988 when he passed the bar exams in Nigeria and qualified as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He later relocated to the United Kingdom and subsequently requalified in year 2000 as a solicitor of England & Wales and specialized in criminal, asylum, litigation, and property law. By 2010 Okenla and his firm Mountain Partnership Solicitors, had evolved into a successful partnership handling high profile asylum and immigrant cases. HDV owns an Accor Hotels franchise to a business economy hotel – Ibis Hotels in Nigeria and other real estate development properties in Nigeria and United Kingdom.
Mrs. Modupe Irmgard Okenla
Modupe Irmgard Okenla Is a Non-Executive Director of HDV Group, with over 20years experience in the corporate world. After graduating from the University of Lagos in 1990 as a Linguist, she proceeded to United Kingdom and worked with the Hammersmith & West London College as the New Deal Manager for many years and later joined the Solicitors Firm of Mountain Partnership Solicitors LLP as the Practice Manager from 2002 to date.
Modupe is on the board of many companies including Tophill Investment Ltd, Alneko Nigeria Ltd to mention a few. She brings her insightful and deep passion to the affairs of HDV Nigeria Ltd.
David Faola
David is the financial adviser to HDV Holdings, providing support on strategic financial decision making in the company. He carries out reviews and due diligence analysis on potential hotel development projects or investment in an existing business. He also reviews and negotiates options for the company’s debt and equity funding structure. He has over 15 years of financial industry experience.
Prior to joining HDV Holdings, David worked at Skye Banks investment banking group as a project and structured finance team lead. David was part of the bank’s real estate advisory team, working alongside counterparts in other region of the bank to support clients in the Nigerian and West African real estate markets.
David focuses on investment banking and real estate advisory transactions. He has been actively involved in >$500m transactions, advising new investors into the Nigeria and West African markets. Historically, David worked on the restructurings of major commercial real estate projects including the InterContinental Hotel, Lagos. More recently David has advised institutional investors as they have sought
to increase their exposure to the shopping malls development markets in south west Nigeria.
As client executive, David has strategic client management and development responsibilities for some of Skye banks largest and most complex institutional clients. Based in Skye banks head office, David joined Skye bank in 2008 and was involved in key hotel development projects such as Ibis Hotel, Protea Alausa Ikeja, Westwood hotel Ikoyi, Intercontinental hotel Lagos, and Protea Benin City.
David has a Bachelor of Technologies degree in Pure & Applied Physics and Masters in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School’s Pan African University. He has attended several trainings including Euro Money financial trainings in the UK. He is a certified Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner. He is also an IBM and AWS Certified Data Analyst.
Adebola Adejonwo MRICS
Adebola Adejonwo is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30years experience in property development.
He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having graduated from the University of Reading renowned College of Estate Management.
He was Head of Projects for Royal Garden Estate (a 150 hectare first Class residential Development), and Head of Property for Stanbic IBTC Bank, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of over 360 properties. Projects include renovation of the head office campuses and regional offices.
He sits on the board of HDV Group advising on the strategic models for our projects as and when necessary.
HDV Nigeria Ltd Development strategy offers Hotel Managers a wide range of contractual solutions that is acceptable to all parties, In line with our flexible partnership strategy, each solution can be tailored to the specific situation as it relates to that particular transaction.
HDV Nigeria Ltd intention is to invest privately sourced funds to develop a portfolio of minimum of three star branded Hotels within the designated area within the shortest possible period as a model for the State and the nation as a whole in the long term.
The Hotel Ibis project is a 165 rooms turnkey project developed by HDV.
This is a hotel that was built and commissioned within 40 months of ground breaking at the best [competitive] value when compared to international pricing obtainable in the industry.
We delivered this by deploying a combination of specialist building materials together with modern building technology to achieve the best value for our client. The project has since been referenced as a landmark in the hospitality industry in the city.

The Hotel Ibis Project at Lekki is a 120 Rooms, 500 Seater Banquet Hall, Meeting Rooms fully serviced 3star Hotel currently being developed by HDV Nigeria Ltd.
Ground breaking of the Project was done in September 2021 and is scheduled to open by April 2025. Construction are at advanced stage of this 8 storey Iconic building. This is another landmark project by HDV Nigeria Ltd to be completed in record time of 43 months of ground breaking at the best value compared to international pricing obtainable in the industry.
We hope to achieve this feat by following the same model of development by deploying our expertise and experience in use of specialized building materials and methodology.
