(Femi Okenla) Is the Group Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of HDV Group, a Nigerian businessman and real estate entrepreneur. His company HDV Group ((consisting of Homes Deal Ventures Nigeria Limited, and HDV (Hotel Development Ventures) Nigeria Limited)) has interests in real estate and hospitality. He is a dual jurisdiction lawyer licensed to practice in Nigeria and the United Kingdom and he began his law career in 1989 when he passed the bar exams in Nigeria and qualified as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He moved to the United Kingdom in year 2000 requalifying as a solicitor and specialized in criminal, asylum, litigation, and property law. By 2010 Okenla and his firm Mountain Partnership Solicitors, had evolved into a successful partnership handling high profile asylum and immigrant cases. He owns an Accor Hotels franchise to a business economy hotel – Ibis Hotel and other real estate development properties
The Hotel Ibis project is a 165 rooms turnkey project developed by HDV. This is a hotel that was built and commissioned within 40 months of ground breaking at the most competitive value when compared to international pricing obtainable in the industry. We delivered this by deploying a combination of specialist building materials together with modern building technology to achieve the best value for our client. The project has since been referenced as a landmark in the hospitality industry in the city of Lagos.
The client's bid was to build a very efficient commercial office building of ground plus 3 floors of approximately 1,728 Sqm. We delivered the brief by using efficient methods of partitioning that allows for flexibility and use of modern technologies within the facility. It was completed within 9 months turn around period as completion time was of essence.
Project Agbowa is a Lagos State Government Housing Project comprising of 144 flats in eight blocks of mixed one (1) and two (2) bedrooms blocks of flats. In this project, value and quality was the concern of the Lagos State Government - The Client. We achieved this, by delivering a flat at a rate under 5 million naira per flat excluding the cost of land, and also, at the proposed quality within the estimated time. We pride ourselves in this project for achieving the right price, quality and time (PQT).
Our group head office was constructed by us within a 12 months turn around period. We deployed all modern facilities for a modern day office finishing by use of plaster board partitioning, wooden floors finishing, aluminum façade cladding, glass finishing, glass walls and sky lights for energy saving, POP ceilings, internal wood panel wall finishing and allowed for modern day technology deployment in the entire architecture. This efficient building stands out conspicuously on Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
